Remembering and Sharing our Tipperary History
Tipperary in the Decade of Revolution is a non-profit grouping of historians who have combined to create an awareness of the events which impacted on the life of County Tipperary and its citizens during Ireland’s Revolutionary period 1913-1923.
We are neither political nor partisan in outlook, believing that all who were involved or affected by the events of the period are worthy of remembrance. Our aim is to create awareness of the people and events that shaped this bloody period in our county’s history as we struggled to assert our independence and build a nation. We will do this through lectures, events and publications.
Contributing historians include;
Sean Hogan, Maura Kiely, John Connors and John Flannery
